I also use resin over some parts of the canvas after the very first layer of paint. Once the painting is finished, I wipe down the resin parts, leaving them transparent to reveal the bottom layer that can now only be seen through the resin. Along with this procedure, I search for meaningful lines and shapes by washing out parts of the canvas or leaving blank portions in between. These little shapes and openings of "truth", at first obscured by the layers of paint, have been accidently revealed so that we may directly experience them. These expressions are intended to reflect the existence of transient ideas in reality.
